Cristina is an amazing landlord. Always was available to answer questions and address any concerns. Cristina made us feel so much at home it is truly hard to put into words.
Vecindario
The neighborhood is quiet for being so close to Old Town. It was just a short walk (not even 10 minutes) to get to the heart of Old Town. Within a 2 minute walk of the building there is a taxi and bus stop. There were a couple of mini-mercados nearby and a nice Intermarche that was less than a 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed the neighborhood.

There are a couple of restaurants, bars, and cafe’s nearby that were much more reasonably priced with a more local flare. Our favorites for food were Tenis Pizza’s, Restaurante Solgamba, and Arte Bar. Our favorite cafe’s were Cafe Leo’s and Pastelaria Barhon. To get a drink we enjoyed the smaller bars. Hot Sun Bar is Portuguese owned and the barman is one of the best and friendliest. You’ll see more local Portuguese in this bar. Siggi’s Stardust was another favorite and staff was also very welcoming.
