Cozy studio in Algarve

Amit is a great guy! He's very friendly and helpful. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable. It is also well located in a nice, mostly quiet area. Supermarkets, the train station and bus services are within easy walking distance while the facilities of Portimao are a bit farther but not extremely far. Another nearby location is Ferragudo with its quaint but touristy vibe, beaches, castle, numerous restaurants and beautiful views.

Vecindario
It's a small, fairly quiet town with that small town feeling. It's not Lisbon with its night life, seemingly endless shopping choices and the metro going everywhere. But Parchal is also a lot quieter than Lisbon. This can be good or bad, depending on what you like in an area to live in. Portimao is nearby and it has a lot more facilities than you might expect for a city its size. After the noise of Lisbon, we appreciated the quiet here. We mostly walked to our destinations, so we can't properly evaluate the local bus and train service.

Pizza Time is a nice pizza place about 5 mins away on foot. There are other small cafes and restaurants in our area which we didn't try, but it would have been nice to give them a go. Lidl, Aldi and Continente are nearby supermarkets. Ferragudo is a nice place for a stroll or a swim in the sea.
