I felt safe taking public transportation during the night and the quarter is really alive so you can meet people at the bus and tram stops at anytime. I think that Palmovka is a safe neighborhood, maybe not the safest in Prague but after 8 years in Rome I can assure you that Czechs standards are really high.

Lovely studio in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, 10 minutes uphill from a quick tram into the centre or about a 40-minute walk. There is one bus (no. 62 from Porici) to take you up the fairly steep, long hill with your bags / shopping, but it only runs half-hourly / hourly during the day, until around 7pm. The studio is much brighter than it looks from the pictures (taken at night); the windows let in plenty of sunlight, and overlook the pretty courtyard at the front and a garden at back. The kitchen is well-equipped except no coffee-maker. The mattress is a little soft, and the fridge and clock rather loud if you have trouble sleeping - they seem louder as the area is so quiet. The flat is warm and secure, with supermarkets a 10 and 15 minute walk away, but only fast food takeaways nearby (kebabs and burgers), there's a nice, arty bar however, the Duck bar.

It's a quiet, residential area, family-friendly, with great views over the city. There's a Lidl at the bottom of the hill and a huge Albert hypermarket further along, a 15 minute walk.

The apartment was very nice and Petra was communicative and answered all my questions. The apartment has all necessary equipment and amenities, which was very convenient. It looks just like pictures, but what you cannot see, is that the windows lead to a beautiful garden. So the apartment is very private, in a quiet residential area but only 10-drive to the city. It is on a hill, so when arriving, take a bus or uber. :)

Skvělá lokace i byt! Orginální bytovy komplex s “ARTsy” atmosférou. Příroda na dosah se snadnou dostupností do centra. Velice si ceníme vyhrazeného parkoviste pro byt. Dekujeme za skvělý pobyt. PS: byt je hned pod střechou, tudíž v létě umí být v bytě fakt teplo, větrák v bytě pomáhá, ale klimatizaci bych ocenil.

I was very happy with the apartment. A lot of additional things are already included, like towels and bed sheets.
The landlord was very polite and nice, and answered very quickly to all my questions.

The apartment is very close to public transport (metro B and various tram lines). It also is in close proximity to many shopping possibilities (e.g., Kaufland). I would describe the neighbourhood as safe, even though there were some sketchy-looking people.

For grocery shopping I would recommend Kaufland, as you get basically everything there and it is very affordable.
For any other shopping, I liked to go to Palladium which takes about 10 minutes if you take the metro B.

El apto cumplia las expectativas. Limpio, cuidado .bien equipado. Por poner una pega( que no seria grave) le falta un Horno microhondas. problema subsanable..

barrio muy tranquilo. Con una excelente comunicacion tanto por Tranvia, metro y autobus.. Al centro son 15 minutos aprox dependiendo el medio de transporte.

Petra is my kind of landlord - she is completely out of your way. She was also very kind to let us get away with broken glass. Don't break anything in her flat intentionally though, but if a small accident happens, ask for kindness. The place is great in many senses. Two places to choose from for sleep, large shower, wardrobe, fully and nicely equipped kitchen. I can't think of one bad thing to pick on actually. It is simple and comfy. Location is dead quite, the street is marked as no-drive-through, so no car noise, a few food stores within 5 minutes walk, old town within 15 minutes walk, large shopping mall - within 10 minutes. Train and bus stations are within walking distance (even with luggage), so traveling around is very simple. Thank you, Petra, for your kindness!
