My name is Yorgos and I live in Sitia Crete with my family.
I like to have long talks with interesting people about history, tradition, music and also nature and how to preserve and protect it.
I love agriculture and I produce my own olive oil, raki and wine.
I am very interested on preserving the architecture of old villages and stone houses.
The house in Vrouhas is a family house for many generations and I renovated it some years ago, with love and respect so we can spend some time with family and friends there to get closer to our roots.

I spent an amazing time at the boatman's house. The house is lovely, very well decorated and you feel at home. It has all the needed facilities.
Yorgos is a caring owner, making sure you're at ease and you know the history of this beautiful family house.
Vrouhas is a very quiet village, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and views. I fully recommend if like me you need a good WiFi connection to work remotely, calm, serenity, nature and authenticity.

Vrouhas is a quiet village, and its inhabitants are lovely and kind. The surroundings of Vrouhas are breathtaking, with beautiful hills, olive trees fields and view on the sea. Lots of nice hikes and of course the delicious restaurant Kafenes.

Kafenes is a must go, for the food, the atmosphere and the owners.
They also sell food & drinks. The Handcraft shop just next door is also a nice place to buy gifts for family and friends.
