The apartment was large, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a great stay. It’s located close enough to visit the beach often, walk to restaurants, and a 10 minute drive from some great hikes. If I had friends or family visiting Calheta I would certainly recommend this apartment and I would love to stay here again.

Excelente Penthouse en Calheta

We stayed in this beautiful place with my family and had a wonderful two months here. We are very happy with everything and plan to return next year.
Unfortunately the pictures don't show that the apartment is very large. Two bedrooms (I heard that a third one is coming soon), two bathrooms and three balconies, as well as a spacious ground parking space.
The apartments are very well furnished, with the style and level of a good hotel.
The swimming pool is bigger than it looks in the photos and is a real joy for children.
Also a big thank you to Joao for his professionalism, very good communication and excellent care.
We are looking forward to the next time we come back.

The apartments are located in a part of Calheta that is on a hill, but close to shops and a restaurant and other attractions.

Awesome stay! This penthouse is big and nicer than the images, also, it is quiet. João gave me a lift to the apartment which was awesome. The issues that arise were quickly solved. Thanks, João.

Excelente Penthouse en Calheta

Everything was awesome here. This penthouse is very spacious, quiet with an incredible terrace with an awesome view. Communication with the landlord is fast and without any problem. He arranged a transfer from the airport for us and gave us inflatable beds for our guests. I can fully recommend this place especially for families with kids.

If you want to stay in Calheta you will definitely need a car. The hills here are super steep so it's not easy to go somewhere by walk. We had a car, so I don't know about public transport, but we didn't see any bus lines or anything like this here. Also if you like food delivery, Calheta is not for you, there is none :) But there are great restaurants in the beach area where you can easily park your car and go to lunch or dinner.

Everything on Madeira is pretty cool, but my top places were Posto Florestal Fanal and just driving over the hills, watching cows on the roads :)

My wife loved the Seixal sand becah.
