Location was excellent. Right next to the grocery store, beautiful windows that open up to the city. A fully stacked kitchen with all the utensils you can dream of, high quality cookware, blender. A very responsive host. I really enjoyed this place and will be coming back when I'm back in Lisbon.

Walkable, grocery nearby, location close enough to the tourist areas with a local feel.

I would go by the recommendations of the host. I liked how there was Vivagym nearby. If you're into CrossFit, that is close too.

I could not have had more of a perfect stay for my first time in Portugal. The flat was clean and bright and the bed and the Ac were amazing. Silke was so responsive and helpful and her friend Sonia was
Amazing too. I would totally stay here again if I were to return to Lisbon.

Flat was spacious, clean, silent, fully equipped (incl. wash-dryer), with everything shown as-is on the pictures. The bed was comfy (medium-firm), only the curtains there do not really keep out the sun (the only reason for -1 point). No idea about the AC in the bedroom, as I didn't need it in May.
To a limited extent, one could also use the space for remote work.

Communication with Silke and Miguel was swift and friendly, everything easy to setup, with all relevant information.

I would immediately rent the place again for a trip to Lisboa.

Vecindario
The flat is north of the main touristic areas in a more residential district. To Baixa, it's about 2km downhill (~20min) or back uphill (~30+min). Bus and metro are close-by, a Bolt to downtown costs about 4€.
Limited and mostly non-longterm car parking around.
Supermarket (Continente) around the corner, also a few coffee and restaurants, more are reachable in ~10min. Also a nice park close-by.

The Bakery CrossFit as a fusion somehow worth seeing.

Silke is a great host, would totally recommend the apartment to make a wonderful stay in Lisbon. Perfectly located, you can get anywhere, 15-20 minutes walking to the historic centre, 8 minutes to two metro stations, and a bus stop just around the corner.
The apartment has everything you might need, and is very neatly cleaned for your comfortable stay. There are blinders on a bathroom window, so your privacy will be secured. The place is cosy and quiet, and I felt very secure as a female single traveller to have as many as three doors to get to the apartment.
In 5 minutes walking you will have two supermarkets to meet your every need.
Silke and her neighbour are very friendly and ready to help out, I am really grateful to them.

Vecindario
The neighborhood is quiet, with some local shops, two supermarkets and a nice park to stroll at. When getting to the historic centre, I would just recommend to avoid Martim Moniz square or just walk on the side closer to Rossio station, not the castle side.

Flat was lovely, well equpied and in a good location. It was easy to gain access through Silke's friend who was very nice and gave us good recommendations for the local area. Only thing that was lacking really was that we could have used another pillow as there were only 2 and they were very small and firm! Great stay all in all.

Neighbourhood was okay, continente supermarket very close and a few bars and restaurants. We mainly ventured into the centre or to other neighbourhoods we heard were lovely which were only 15-35 minutes walk.

In the local area not so much as we didnt try anywhere but sure there were some lovely places as we walked past a few that looked great.
