I like that contracts for longterm rent are visible before renting the apartment, which was useful for my immigration into Portugal. The terms for contract termination are easier than regular in Portugal - just tell the owner 1 month in advance. Flatio is also suitable for short term rent and have some interesting flats that are not on Airbnb.

It's a very nice service. Easy to use. You feel protected as there is a premade contract for you that is also in two languages. Yours and the landlords so everyone understands. What is also great is the flat insurance.

The contract should be in the local language, in that case, in Portuguese. Otherwise, it is not helpful when we try to use it as a document. Also, the contract should have some kind of digital signature.
