A. The flat is new and nicely decorated. Very modern standards.
B. Internet works very well if you are working remotely.
C. The location in Funchal is great: very central and convenient for buses, teleferico, access to seafront.
D. Vitor is an amazing host, helpful, kind, very quick in addressing requests/questions.
E. On the downside of the apartment, it is noisy due to the big street downstairs and there is no space outside (shared balcony, garden) which I found missing when working remotely and being therefore locked in the studio flat for some hours. But being fair, the price is also more reasonable than other places... one cannot have it all.

Lenka is a great host, and was very kind and generous with her time and availability. The flat is roomy and comfortable, with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood is very calm, with many shops and parks nearby. Public transportation is very close, but the area is also worth exploring by foot. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here.

We lived in this apartment from January to the beginning of June and we truly loved our stay! The apartment is nice and modern, equipped with everything you might need. The best feature is the amazing back porch, where you have sun from early morning to around 5 pm.

Estrela is a great neighbourhood with everything you need within walking distance; 15 min walk to Bairro Alto, 10 min to Santos train station, 2 min to the tram stop, 10 min to a big grocery store, and 2 min to the minimercado (small store) on the corner. The beautiful park Jardim da Estrela is also only 2-3 minutes away and you have a nice variety of cafes and restaurants close by. The area felt very safe (it's located right behind the Parliament, The São Bento Palace), and you are surrounded by friendly neighbours.

We had good communication with the hosts, Iris and Maud; they were very responsive and easy to deal with. Would absolutely recommend this apartment and Lisbeyond to others who want to enjoy their stay in Lisbon.

The location makes many of Lisbon's sights and attractions quite accessible. The apartment offered enough space for us to not always feel on top of each other. The private patio area is great with shade from the lemon tree (Which also meant fresh lemonade). Communication and questions were always handled quite quickly. Overall very satisfied with the value we received.

Skvělá lokace v centru, přes noc i přes blízkost hromadné dopravy klid. Byt je moderní a čistý, postel pohodlná. Komunikace s majitelem perfektní, ve všem vyšel vstříc (podařilo se mi zamknout klíče v bytě, majitel za 20 minut přijel a vpustil mě zpět dovnitř). Celkově naprostá spokojenost

Muito boa localização, a casa tem todas as comodidades necessárias, a praia a 1 minuto a pé, Supermercado cerca de 3 minutos a pé, restaurantes a 100m.
Recomendo para férias, como para estadias mais prolongadas. A Senhoria muito simpática e sempre disponível. Gostei imenso da minha estadia de um mês.

Mrs Irena is very polite and helpful. She provided me with many supplies, such as utensils and cleaning products. She even came to pick me from the airport and filled my fridge. The kindest move of her was the extra lock she put on the door just for me and her direct response to help me. I strongly recommend this apartment, since it is in an excellent location, everything works right and the landlord is really nice.

Really nice and super forthcoming owners - however, keep in mind that there will be at least 4 people in the flat, and there is only one small bathroom and kitchen.

We travel a lot, but Quinta Mãe dos Homens was one of the best accomodation we have ever been to. An oasis of peace just up the hill from Funchal center. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed, especially a strong wifi signal. ;) We loved having our meals in the balcony, looking over the garden. The common area of the patio and the pool are perfect to read a book, have a swim and overall relax. You can work there too. We just loved everything about this place and Marina, the property owner, was very kind and welcoming. 10/10.

Majitel byl velmi vstřícný a komunikativní. Byt odpovídal fotogalerii, byl naprosto čistý, klidná lokalita. Jako pronajímatele určitě doporučuji. Vše proběhlo bez problémů.

Well-equipped apartment, close to the center. Walking distance to Krakow Galeria, where there are plenty of grocery stores. The main downside to the apartment is that it's neighbouring a construction site, so sometimes noise can be heard as early as 6:00 am.
