This is a nice flat, in quiet District XI, but close to several major transit lines. I lived here for nearly a year, it is a great area to stay. The flat is perfect for a person or a couple, with the ability to host an overnight guest when needed. I highly recommend!

I absolutely loved spending a whole month in this wonderful place. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and wake up to the sound of birds singing, this is the place for you. The bungalow is situated in a forest on the mountain slope, offering a beautiful view of the local lake and mountains. It has almost direct access to all the hiking trails in Gerês. Nearby (500m) there is a church, as well as stalls selling local products. There is also a Multibanco ATM and a bus stop (line 200 to Braga for 4.90 euros) near the church. A bit further down (2 km) is Rio Caldo, with restaurants and a shop. I didn't have a car, but it was quite easy to walk there. The owners of the bungalow were very friendly and helped me with all my questions. The bungalow was equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, clean towels, bed linen, a floor heater, and even a bottle of wine :) The Wi-Fi was sufficient for remote work and video calls. There is a fireplace near the house (don't forget to bring charcoal and fire starters) and a table. Everything was very clean and cozy. I really enjoyed this place; it offers excellent value for money. I would gladly return to Quinta da Carvalha again. Obrigado!

Juan and Rocio are the best hosts we could ask for! They are super welcoming that we felt like at home. The apartment was very clean, brand new and well-designed. I could see how many efforts the owners put into it. At the flat you can find literally everything you need. Also, the location was great as for me, I really enjoyed being surrounded by hills and authentic Spanish villas. Our first stay in Malaga was great, and mostly because of the right flat choice! We recently stayed in this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. Located on the first floor with elevator access, it provided the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, including a dishwasher. All the necessary kitchen utensils are available, and the knives are sharp—a rare find in rental apartments. The bathroom is equally well-equipped, even providing beach towels. The apartment allows for cross-ventilation, which was a nice touch. There is a washing machine in a storage room. Multiple built-in wardrobes provided ample storage space. We rented the apartment for several weeks, and the landlord kindly offered to change the bed linens and towels as part of the service. The location is quite convenient, close to central streets, and there are nearby car and bike rental services. Overall, a fantastic stay in a well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped apartment. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about the place and the owners. Mostly I interacted with Corina and she was amazingly nice, helpful and kind. The flat itself is very welcoming, cozy and has everything you need for a short or long-term stay. All the little details and household items are so well-selected and add to the experience. The location is basically inside Alameda shopping mall - so whatever you need is just a 3-min walk away - supermarkets, ATMs, cinema… I loved it that there was a spare set of towels and linens and plenty of blankets and bedcovers to keep you warm. The metro station is a short walk away and gets you anywhere in the city in a matter of minutes. There’s just one thing - football is not my scene at all and quite frequently there were matches and other events at the stadium which is located nearby. Those were quite loud even with the windows closed. However, if you’re a fan, you can basically watch matches from the balcony :) I loved the experience and that this cozy studio and its amazing owners made me feel at home in Porto instantly. I had a wonderful experience with the flat ! The landlord was kind and always responded to my messages very quickly. He was able to answer all my questions, which was very helpful. The flat was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay!! Plus, the bus stop is just a short walk from the house, which made getting around very convenient. So yes I am very satisfied and highly recommend this rental !

The apartment is modern, new, beautifully decorated, and comfortably furnished. The location is excellent, walking distance to everything in Funchal. If you are out and about enjoying Funchal then the occasional noise from the work next door won't be a problem. The bar on the same street at ground level plays music until very late Tuesday to Saturday nights. Service is very good and responsive once I figured out the right number to contact.

Casa Carlotta is a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our time there, it has a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, it is central yet calm and overlooking a nice courtyard. Laura is a great host and was always responsive and understanding whenever we needed help. One thing to mention though, is that the apartment has a lot of the owners' personal belongings so make sure you are okay with that. Overall we had a great time and we recommend staying in this apartment :)

We spent few wonderful months in Luis's house. It is so cozy and well equipped. The location was perfect for us because of the privacy and mountains around. Only 5 min to the ocean, 10 - to the nearest mountain path. Luis was responsive and always helpful. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back one day!

We were staying at Andreia’s apartment for 1 month. We came to give birth to our daughter in Porto. The experience with Andreia was great! There’s everything in apartment for comfort living, and Andreia made it great for living with babies. I highly recommend this apartment!

Really great flat, we lived and worked there for 5 weeks and had no issues. It was a good size for a couple and had everything we needed! The desk and monitor was a nice addition and overall we felt at home here. Luis was a brilliant landlord, very communicative, fast to respond and gave us lots of helpful advice.

Cozy apartment with a great location. The apartment has everything you need and more for a long-term stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, and there are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cups, and cutlery. The bedroom has a comfortable and convenient bed and a large wardrobe for storing things. During the hot days of May, the apartment was comfortable and cool, and in winter, two heaters in the hall and bedroom provide enough warmth. Additionally, there is a small heater in the bathroom. The main thing is that there is no mold in the apartment, and it has good ventilation. The location is very convenient. There are two parks nearby: one with a forest area, a garden, lakes, and a playground; the other is a modern park with artificial canals, a fountain, and birds. There are two large supermarkets, Continente and Pingo Doce, within walking distance. Additionally, cafes and small grocery and hardware stores are just a minute away from the apartment. Furthermore, there is a gym, schools, kindergartens, a pharmacy, a post office, and good transport connections (Lumiar, Quinta das Conchas railway station). The airport is relatively close, but the apartment has good soundproofing windows, so you can't hear the planes. The owner of the apartment, Maria, welcomed us very hospitably, responded quickly to our requests, and is a very positive and friendly person. Communication was easy. We are very grateful for her hospitality and wish her all the best. I highly recommend it.
