First impressions of the appartment were very good. Lot's of space and comfort. The appartment has a keyless entry, which is cool and convenient for people who forget to bring their keys.

The kitchen is equiped with everything you'll need. The upstairs area is roomy with a both modern and classical feeling. It's very comfortable to stay here for a while.

The large windows upstairs allow for a lot of sunlight, so you'll barely need lighting and it helps with heating up the place. You will need lights downstairs as there is little sunlight coming through the matted window, which also means that it becomes a cold area.

There were some electrical issues that needed the help of a technician, but with the help of the LovelyStay employees that all got resolved.

Other than that it's the perfect appartment to relax, work and live from. Big thanks to LovelyStay for being available virtually all the time and helping out with everything I needed.

Filipa is an amazing host. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to. I stayed in her place for 1 month with my boyfriend. She showed and explained everything in detail upon check in, and she quickly responded to our questions throughout our stay. She also helped during check out to get my belongings out of the apartment. The place itself is a gem. It looks exactly the same as in the photos, and the stairs going down to the beach straight from the apartment building is a wonderful bonus! I would definitely book again when I have the chance! I'm really happy with the apartment, I'll definitely come back if I have a chance! The whole room and was cleaned perfectly every Monday, the landlady was really nice, all around I was feeling safe and sound. Also you can easily travel to the campus and city center with a bus that is 3 minutes from the hotel. Definitely recommend :)

This is a lovely and well appointed home located on a quiet street only one block from the main thoroughfare in Gaia... In our opinion, the perfect location. The apartment was spacious and well decorated with plenty of storage.

The management team (Sonia, Sonia and Betina) were simply delightful. They were incredibly responsive and did their very best to make every aspect of our stay comfortable. Our 6 week stay was not without small complications but they were handled with the utmost sense of urgency and professionalism. We would not hesitate to book this property, or any of the other Porto Gaia R&R Properties.

I look forward to returning!

Pedro was a great host. We had a slight issue with the power going out and he was quick to respond and resolve for us. The apartment is quaint and nicely decorated, lots of plants, a spacious balcony and air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom. The apartment is well placed with local amenities nearby, and a metro stop only 10 minutes or so walk away.

I’d highly recommend Pedro’s home to others!

The apartment is gorgeous. It is clear that the landlords put in a lot of effort in making this apt a place like home. They are very welcoming, accommodating and responsive to messages, always there to help with whatever question or problem may arise (also very helpful and flexible when it comes to agreeing on a time to do the handover / takeover of the apartment). Since the temperatures were rather low in the morning and the evening during the start of February, I struggled a bit with the fact that there is no central heating for the entire apartment. However, the landlords provide a mobile heater that works perfectly for the bedrooms. Also, during midday the apartment gets a lot of sunshine which also heats the apartment. The landlords put a lot of thought into what one might need during one’s stay and have all the appliances, devices, kitchenware, etc. readily available in the apartment - down to things like a hair dryer, a power strip, or even a bottle of water, seasonings, coffee pads to help you get started). I really loved staying at their apartment.

Pros: Apartment is good, close to everything, the view from the balcony is amazing!
Cons: I had some disagreements with the landlord with my check-in dates. More flexibility would be nice, specially with foreigners (plans could change!). Internet connection is very week. Not suitable for home-office.
