Andy and his wife were so sweet to me. They made sure to help me with anything I needed and were always just a text or phone call away. They were nothing short of a blessing for me!

Vecindario
It is centrally located, directly near the Hauptbahnhof (4 min walk) and only a short walk away from Altstadt center, it is very easy to get anywhere in Freiburg from here.

The Kebap place below is nice and cheap if you need a quick meal, but the Kebap place in Hauptbahnhof is much tastier. I would also recommend using Flixbus for any traveling you'd like to do because the station is so close to the apartment.

For groceries, there is a Lidl just south (15 min walk) that you can shop at for low prices.

Seepark is a great place to walk around at, there is also a full Track field along with a turf Football/Soccer field.

There is almost always something going on in Freiburg so I really recommend always taking the time to walk around Altstadt and the neighborhood to see what posters you can find and also if you'll just stumble upon an event.

On Schlossberg there is Kastaniengarten, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Freiburg and also a nice cold drink. It was super fun watching the Euros here. I think you can also bring your own food if you'd like here.

The grocery store in the Hauptbahnhof is open on sundays!

First of all it is a nice cute tiny apartment which I find too small for two people. Well... good price balance though. If you are planning a relatively short stay like a mont-month and a half this is a good apartment. Andy is a lovely person with basic principles. The flat takes in a lot of dust and since it is so close to the road it is impossible to keep the window open during rush hours especially. The flat was dirty when we moved in but it was okay. Also the bed is not appropriate for two people to be sleeping on more than a month. squeaky and very uncomfortable when turned into a sofa too.

It is the closest you can get to the train station, and basically everywhere. Close to everywhere, very safe, lovely people around, close to university too. loved it.

I had a very pleasant stay in this studio. The location is great, close to the station and the old town. Andy is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this flat.
