Great modern and light property with great views over Funchal mountains. The flat is centrally located with great access to transport links, groceries and restaurants. The interaction with the owners was really smooth and friendly. Great place to also get some work done with a dedicated work station and fast and reliable broadband. The flat is located close to a busy street however. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We absolutely loved this apartment! The location is perfect, with a 3 story shopping center within about 5 minute walk (large grocery store/food court/bookshop) all open late. It's a beautiful walk to the water (takes about 8 minutes, and that's hauling 3 kids with us); you can walk to the cable cars, and there are plenty of restaurants all accessible. It's a greaty spot.

The interior is exactly as pictured, and the views of the city are perfect. Modern appliances, and everything was very clean and updated. Like another reviewer, we really loved the couch too.

Bogdan and Andrew were very responsive leading up and during our stay, and I want to thank Bogdan especially for meeting us late night for the key handover and showing us around the apartment.

This was our first time using Flatio, and it was perfect. If you're visitng Madiera, whether short or long term, this is a gem.

There is a coin/stamp shop in the Marina Shopping center (near the flat) named Filatelia Numismática. The owner is incredibly kind, and the shop is worth the time to look through if that's your thing.
Also, it may seem touristy, but taking the cable car up and waiting in the 300 person line for the toboggan rides is worth every penny.

We really enjoyed our stay! The appartment was incredibly clean, all the essentials provided. Amazing sofa!!
The apartment doesn't have dedicated parking spot, but there's plenty paid parking spaces nearby -- free overnight (8pm-8am) and on Sundays.
The street is full of bike shops and there's some sort of bike club bar, so it might be a bit noisy with windows opened.
Walking distance from city centre and all the great cafes! 5 min walk to the nearby groccery store.
