The apartment is in good shape. It works well for a couple. We stayed 45 days and had no problems.

Vecindario
The buildings are very close together. Being careful about making noise is important. Most people were respectful of the close proximity of all of us.

On Rua dos Remedios we especially liked Casa Dos Amigos Restaurant, The Portuguese-Greek Restaurant and the Wine Bar.

I stayed at Abel's place for 4 months. It's a great place to stay if you are a digital nomad looking for a cute, fully functional small appartment where you can work from home. The neighborhood is so nice and typical, you are litterally in the heart of Alfama. Access by foot to the viewpoints is very easy. There is a supermarket and a metro station in less than 5 minutes walking distance, and also the wonderful Italian restaurant Casanova.

Last but not least, Abel is a great host. Extremely responsive, professional, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay pleasant.

I booked this one bed Alfama apartment for 3 months and was delighted with the whole experience. The apartment is in an excellent location. It was within walking distance to all the main sites of Lisbon and everything I needed for a longer-duration stay in which I was working from home. Wifi was sufficient for conducting video calls which was an important consideration for me! The apartment was spotlessly clean and super well-equipped. Abel was a really accommodating host and always very responsive to answering any queries. He also went over and above to provide information about Lisbon in general. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for short or medium term accommodation in Lisbon.
